LaneMarker AI Studio · Design & Drafting

From a satellite photo to a clean base map.

Before the first cone or the first figure, someone redraws the road. LaneMarker traces it from the imagery — every curb, lane line, centre line, stop bar, crosswalk, median and turn pocket — then its drafting agents close the gaps and square the lines, and the sheet editor turns it into a plan set.

What it does

Built for the way engineers actually work.

Traced from the imagery

Drag a box along the corridor. Curbs, lane lines, yellow centre lines, stop bars, crosswalks, raised medians, islands and driveways are read from the aerial.

Drafting agents finish the base

Close kerb gaps, join traces, straighten lines and keep one layout per street — or box a mistake and let the agent redraw just that area.

Three sheet styles

Aerial, asphalt or clean linework on white, with layers you can move, hide and edit by hand.

Sheet production built in

Title block, north arrow, match lines, sheet index, lane arrows, sign sizes and your company’s sign and note templates.

How it works

3 steps. One map.

  1. 01

    Trace the area

Drag a box over the corridor or intersection. The linework draws itself onto the paint.

  2. 02

    Clean it up

Run the drafting agents, or edit any line by hand. Where the imagery leaves a real choice, it asks.

  3. 03

    Sheet and export

Lay out the sheets and export to PDF or DXF, linework on its own layers.

What you get

Deliverables

  • Base map linework
  • Plan sheets — aerial, asphalt or linework
  • Title block, match lines and sheet index
  • PDF and DXF export

Exports to Word, PDF and images. Every value is editable and traceable to its inputs.

FAQ

Design & Drafting — questions

How accurate is the trace?
The trace is measured against surveyed city GIS linework and checked over the satellite view, and every line stays editable. Where the imagery is ambiguous, LaneMarker asks rather than guessing.
Does it work with my CAD?
Yes. Export DXF and open it in your CAD package with the linework on separate layers.
